- Costs
Use of the ENKORO app is permanently free of charge.
ENKORO does not charge per user, but per group.
This means that all group members benefit from the payment of one group member.
The first 30 days after setting up a group are free of charge.
After that, there is a charge of €1 per day.
Use of ENKORO app: 0€
Group maintenance: €1 per day
Attention: Until 31.12.24 we will double the duration of each payment.
For example, a payment of €10 will result in a total extension of 20 days. A maximum of 12 hours after receipt of payment, the doubling of the term will be allocated to the group.
It does not matter which group member contributes financially. In the payment process, you can decide whether the other group members can see who has made the payment or whether you want to do this anonymously.
Click on Duration in your group and you will receive an overview of the remaining term of the group and who has contributed to the maintenance of the group so far.
Click on Extend if you want to participate in maintaining the group.
If the ‘Silo’ indicator goes to 0 days, the group content is locked and can no longer be expanded, viewed, commented on or liked.
However, the group can be awakened from its ‘dormancy’ at any time within one year of the end of the term by a payment from a group member.
All group members will then be informed by email that the group has been awakened.
- Costs for meThe ENKORO app is absolutely free to use . You don't have to pay anything.
Only the permanent maintenance of a group costs something. But you don't have to pay - it doesn't matter which group member makes a contribution to maintaining the group. As soon as a group member makes a contribution, all group members have full access for the paid period - without restrictions. - Costs per groupENKORO costs per group, not per participant. This means that every payment made by an individual benefits the entire group and everyone receives full usage rights - with no ifs or buts.
- Create groupIt's very simple: Click on the round purple symbol at the bottom right of your group overview.
The group creation takes place in 2 steps:
- Step
- Give the group
- a picture
- a name*
- select the group type* (Private or Public).

- Data securityOur system runs on a Microsoft server in Frankfurt am Main. We attach great importance to ensuring that all data uploaded to the app (images, films, texts) remain within our system.
Unlike most online social media, we do not market any data of the users of our system. ENKORO is not financed by sharing user behavior or by displaying advertisements. ENKORO is financed exclusively by payments from group members to maintain individual groups.
Please find further details in our privacy policy. - Dedication This app is dedicated to my friend Baschar Al-Frangi. Baschar left this world far too early. He was such a talented person and could have achieved so much.
- Delete groupA group can only be deleted by the group administrator. Deletion means that all posts, images and videos in the group are irretrievably lost. Other group members may have invested a lot of time and work in the posts, images and videos. Therefore, think carefully about whether you should actually delete a group. You can also simply transfer the administration for this group to another group member. See here: "Hand over administrator role".
- Discount campaign until 31.12.2024Up to and including 31.12.24 we will double every purchased term.
If a group member participates with e.g. 20€ (=20 days duration), we will double this duration again a few hours later.
This means that the group will be maintained for a total of 40 days for all members by paying €20. - Dispute
If you disagree with another group member’s post, you can report it by clicking the exclamation mark icon in the post and entering a reason for your report. Once you have sent this message, the group administrator will receive a notification and be asked to review the matter.
The group administrator can then deactivate, delete, or retain the post.
If you disagree with the decision, or if the administrator does not resolve the conflict, click SUPPORT in the bottom right corner and fill out the form, or send an email directly to support@enkoro.life.
Include the group name, the post in question, and a brief description of your concern.
The support team will look into it and send you feedback via email. - Duplicate groupsIt doesn't really make sense to have several groups for a deceased person. The people involved should therefore agree on one group and delete the other groups.
- Duration free of chargeEach group has a graphical display ("Runtime" button) that works in a similar way to the fill level in a grain silo. The grain silo is of course filled accordingly at the start of the group, as the group functions completely free of charge for 30 days. The fill level of the silo decreases slightly with each calendar day. As long as the silo is not empty, the group functions without restrictions. Each payment of a contribution automatically replenishes the silo and thus full functionality for all group members.

- Edit groupAs a group administrator, you can make adjustments at any time. For example, the group administrator can change the group picture or the group name. They can also correct errors and change the group status (private/public) at any time.
- ENKORO - MeaningENKORO is based on the planned language Esperanto. It means: En= In and Koro= Heart and is intended to correspond to the idea of keeping a deceased person alive in the heart.
- ENKORO -Why?A few years ago, the inventor of this app was hit very hard by the news of the death of a loved one. Without further ado, he converted a website into a condolence website. Many friends, acquaintances and relatives used the platform to share memories and upload photos. The website was an important source of support for many people. ENKORO builds on this experience. We will ensure that the memory of loved and valued people is preserved for many grieving people.

- Financial supportWith every contribution paid, the 'silo' fills up by a certain number of days according to the amount. Every group member can see the amount you have paid into the 'silo' and, if you wish, every group member can also see that you have paid this amount and thus made a significant contribution to maintaining the group.
- Forgotten passwordIf you are logged out and have forgotten your password, click on 'Forgot password' on the login screen and then enter your email address and click on the orange 'Confirm your email' button. You will then receive an email with a 'New password' link. Click on the link and enter your new password 2* in the following window. Click on the orange 'Reset password' button to set a new password. You can then log in as normal using your email address and your new password.
- Free of chargeUse of the app is permanently free of charge.
There are no paid subscriptions or other automatic debits.
Only the permanent maintenance of a group can (but does not have to) be extended by a financial contribution.
Why does it cost money to maintain a group? For programming the app on the various platforms, server hosting in Germany, fee-based external services, extensions, personnel, taxes, fees, legal advice and many other items, we unfortunately have to charge some money after the 30 free days after the group is founded because, unlike many other social media providers, we do not place any advertising or sell any of our participants' personal data. - Free periodEach group has a graphical display ("Runtime" button) that works in a similar way to the fill level in a grain silo. The grain silo is naturally full at the start of the group, as the group functions completely free of charge for 30 days. The fill level of the silo is reduced slightly with each calendar day. As long as the silo is not empty, the group functions without restrictions. Each payment of a contribution automatically refills the "silo" for all group members.

- Group adminAnyone who creates a group is automatically the group administrator.
In this role you can
- set the group details (group name, group picture, etc.)
- Change the group type (private/public)
- Control group membership
- Approve posts before publication (if activated)
- Activate/deactivate post notifications
- etc.
- Group receiveAfter the first 30 days, maintaining a group costs €0.50 per day (incl. 50% discount until the end of 2024). Please note: No matter how large the group is, paying for one or more days automatically gives all group members full access. There is therefore no obligation to participate in maintaining the group. Nevertheless, everyone receives full usage rights. In short: with your financial contribution, you ensure that all group members can use the group in full in accordance with your payment. You also receive full access as soon as another group member makes a financial contribution. Example: Let's take a group with 100 members. Ten members contribute €10 each (€100 in total). The group can then be fully used by all 100 members for 200 days (incl. 0.50 per day (discount until 31.12.2024)).
- Group settingsThe group administrator can activate/deactivate the following here
-
- Contribution approval - Every contribution by a group member must be approved by the group administrator
- Joining approval - You can join automatically or the administrator must approve a joining request
- Post notification - The group administrator receives a notification for each post
- Member notification - If active, the group member will receive a notification as soon as their membership request has been approved
- Conflict notification

- Hand over administrator roleIf you no longer want to be an administrator for a selected group, click on Leave group. The app will then ask you which group member you would like to transfer the administrator role to. Select a person and click on Assign. The selected person will then be informed and is now the group administrator. You can then rejoin the group as a normal member if necessary.

- PaymentIt's easy to do via Stripe - with a credit card or Apple Pay. After payment, you will receive the invoice by email. In the payment process, you decide whether the group should know that you have contributed to the receipt or whether the group should only know that an anonymous participant has contributed.
- PhotosPhotos up to 3mb file size can be uploaded.
- Photos (analog)Simply take photos from photo albums and post them with the date they were taken or an approximate time period (month, year).
- Post of others not likedEach group member can report contributions (movie, picture, text) to the group administrator. The group administrator then decides on the whereabouts of the post.
You can indicate why you do not like a post in the message.
You can choose from the following options: The post
- is unfavorable
- infringes copyrights
- shows or mentions me without me wanting it
- I just don't like it
- has other defects (please explain)
- Private groupThis group is a closed society. Only invited persons can join this group. Strangers cannot see this group in the app. Private groups are the best solution for mourners who want to keep to themselves and retain control over the group members.
- Public groupVisible to all ENKORO app users.
Depending on the settings, you can join this group immediately or after approval by the group administrator.
Public groups are perfect for deceased members of the public, for example. They can of course also be used for any mourning group that anyone can join (with the administrator's approval if necessary). The group administrator can change the group status. r

- SiloYou can view the remaining duration of your group at any time by clicking on 'Duration'.
There, the fill level of the 'Silo' shows how many days the group is still available online. Each time a group member joins, the fill level of the silo increases by the corresponding number of days. - Silo emptyAs soon as the fill level of the "silo" is empty, only a few posts can be clicked on the "timeline" of a group. The group with all its posts will not be lost for the next 365 days. However, it will be largely deactivated. As soon as a group member fills up the "Silor" with a small post, all posts are fully visible to all group members again and further posts can be created. A group is deleted after 365 days of inactivity. This means that all photos, videos and posts are lost.

- Text contributionsIn addition to videos and photos, you can also save shared experiences as a post with a date. This post will then also appear on the timeline of the deceased person.
- TimelineAll contributions in the form of photos, videos and texts are displayed on a timeline according to date.
The more contributions there are, the fuller the timeline will be and, ideally, the life of the deceased person in this group will be traced quite accurately.
You can display the timeline by decades, years or categories and then click on individual posts to take a closer look at them.
You can also like or comment on posts. - Troublesee Conflicts

- VideosVideo contributions can be uploaded as long as they are a maximum of 10mb in size.
- Videos (analogue)ENKORO allows you to upload short film sequences. If you have old videos or even Super 8 films, simply play them back with a recorder or projector and record sequences from them with your smartphone. The quality of the old films will not deteriorate much by filming them. You can then upload your film sequences to your group's timeline.
